Tourism Victoria
This site has the major tourist attractions that I can think of that Victoria offers under THINGS TO DO. We can recommend Butchart Gardens and the Royal BC Museum. Both require comfortable shoes and time. We can also say that if see whales in their natural habitat is of interest, it is worth every penny if the whales are out. There are many companies that offer Whale watching, please be careful with the “Guarantee”, you maybe promised wildlife, not whales. Although it is always nice to be out on the water and you will see amazing things, the Orcas are what do make the trip.

SAILING We will be doing day sailing trips for anyone who wants to join us!
PLANNING YOUR TRIP Alan and Darcie have booked from August 12th to the 24th, to do any
last minute wedding things (prior to the 19th, however we plan to be organized)
and use this time to visit with friends and family that are in Victoria.
If you are thinking about making a summer holiday out of this trip, we
hope you will include us in some of your plans. We promise not to
make you work too hard during your holiday. For those that are interested
a day on the water in a sailboat can be very relaxing, sporting and a great
way to catch up. For those that aren’t keen on going out on the boat,
to sit in the harbor on the boat and enjoy the sun and talents of the local
street venders can be fun too.
